After over two decades of dedicated service, Rhonda Bell, Member Care Manager, bids farewell to embark on a new chapter of her life: retirement. Rhonda's journey with us began on November 12, 2001, marking the beginning of a remarkable career that has left a permanent mark on our organization.
Throughout her tenure, Rhonda has exemplified excellence across various roles, showcasing her versatility and commitment to our mission. From her initial role as a Billing Representative in 2001 to her current position as Member Care Manager, Rhonda's career trajectory is a testament to her unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership skills.
Rhonda's contributions have not gone unnoticed. Her exemplary performance earned her three Service of Excellence awards in 2016 from the TEC Academy, highlighting her commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. During her tenure as a manager, Nueces Electric Cooperative has also achieved a prestigious score of 95 in the customer satisfaction survey conducted among numerous participating cooperatives for 2023.
Rhonda has served on both the safety and annual meeting committees. She fulfilled her role on the safety committee for two years and the annual meeting committee for three years.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Rhonda is known for her love of the outdoors. She loves the beach and enjoys quality time camping with her family. At home, she is surrounded by the love of her three daughters, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way. She also has three cats and three dogs, finding joy in the company of her family and extensive furry family.
Rhonda has shown a strong dedication to improving herself both personally and professionally. She pursued certifications like NISC Certification in IVUE and took part in training programs, such as her three-month stint at NISC facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2011.
As Rhonda begins this new chapter of her life, her NEC family extends their heartfelt gratitude for her years of service, leadership, and friendship. While she may be retiring from her role, her impact will continue to resonate within our organization for years to come.
