applicants who live or would like to relocate to the South Texas Coastal
Bend, a beautiful unique part of the country, surrounding the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas. The area boasts beaches, fishing, historical sites, working
ranches, hunting, shopping, antiquing, and golf for those seeking fun and
excitement or just a slower pace. NEC is an electric distribution co-op
serving 17,000 consumers in 8 counties- 3 that border the Gulf of Mexico, and
another approximately 18,000 consumers, through the NEC Retail Division, as
their chosen competitive retail provider in other areas of Texas. NEC is
based in Robstown, a bedroom community of the city of Corpus Christi. Nueces
Electric Co-op has a competitive benefits package which currently includes
