Nueces Electric Cooperative's Competitive Retailer (CR) Relations is the team of NEC employees dedicated to support Competitive Retailers who choose to offer their power supply to Nueces Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NEC) distribution service member-consumers.

As you sell your power supply to Nueces Electric Co-op members, we want to be sure that our partnership with you works smoothly and professionally. As an electric co-op, our top priority is to meet our members' needs in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Our business partners must share this dedication to exceeding our members' customer service expectations.

Nueces Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NEC) was chartered in December of 1938 amidst the flurry of rural electrification growth throughout the country. Today, 90% of NEC's service locations are either residential or lighting services. As of May 2011, NEC delivery services (a nonprofit, customer-owned corporation) proudly serves:

• 15,085 Residential Services
• 2,348 Commercial & Industrial Services
• 5,339 Street & Security Light Services

These services are in parts of eight(8) South Texas counties including: Nueces, Kleberg, Kenedy, Live Oak, Jim Wells, McMullen, Brooks, and Duval counties. Nueces Electric Cooperative has 3,081miles of overhead electricity distribution line and 103 miles of underground distribution line.
